Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
This policy explains what data SneakersLife — operated by Manybox LLC ("we," "us," "our") — collects, how we use it, and what rights you have. Plain language, no legal fog.
The short version: we never sell your data. We collect only what we need to run the consignment service and the store, we share it only where required to do that job (carriers, payment processors), and we never use your information for anything you didn't ask us to do.
1. What we collect
- Consignors: name, email address, shipping address, payout details, access credentials for your consignor portal, and the details and photos you submit about your items (brand, model, size, condition).
- Buyers: name, email address, shipping address, and order details needed to fulfill your purchase.
- Email subscribers: your email address, so we can send drop alerts and store news. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Site visitors: basic technical data (browser type, pages visited) so we can keep the site working and understand what's popular. We don't run cross-site ad trackers.
2. How we use it
- To operate the consignment service: receiving, authenticating, listing, storing, selling, and shipping your items, and paying you.
- To fulfill buyer orders and handle returns.
- To send transactional emails (approvals, shipping instructions, payout notices) and — only if you opted in — marketing emails.
- To prevent fraud, including counterfeit detection and enforcement of our Consignment Agreement.
- To comply with legal obligations (for example, tax reporting).
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
3. Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to do the job:
- Shipping carriers — your address, so your shoes or your order actually arrive.
- Payment processors — payout and payment details, so money moves.
- Law enforcement — only where we are legally required to, or where we reasonably believe counterfeit or stolen goods are involved (see our Consignment Agreement, Section 6).
We don't share consignor inventories between consignors — your items are visible only in your private portal. We never publish warehouse addresses or precise storage locations.
4. How we protect it
- Access to consignor and order data is restricted to the people who need it to run the business.
- Consignor portal access is protected by individual access codes — don't share yours.
- We use reputable, encrypted infrastructure for hosting, payments, and email. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and fix issues promptly when we learn of them.
5. How long we keep it
We keep consignment and order records for as long as needed to operate your account, pay you, and meet legal and tax obligations — generally up to 7 years after your last transaction. Marketing email addresses are deleted when you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights (California)
We're based in California, so the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you;
- Delete your personal information (subject to records we're legally required to keep);
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — which is easy, because we don't sell or share it in the first place;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email sneakerslife@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll respond within 45 days.
7. Children
SneakersLife is for adults. You must be at least 18 to consign with us, and our store is not directed at children under 13. If we learn we've collected a child's data, we delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows. Material changes will be emailed to active consignors and subscribers before they take effect. The version posted here is always the current one.
